2023 - 0111 Since last time have we updated ton's of things and especially the Best Buy Guide directly... Last with a huge change in the CARS section, where we put Tesla first, because that car is now the best future proof alternative for almost everyone... Then did we reorganise the BOAT section dramatically, because we find very few really fine "family" boat's anymore (so buy them second hand) and my CriCat got luxury renovated... There are also a new section with a huge list of the best music, according to my friends... The page about The secret world history - have also got many deep updates... Plus a lot more!

2014 - 0222 I got finally some time to update the web design, with a clearly lighter "background paper" that anyhow is easy on your eyes... And to correct the strange formatting errors, the catastrophic Microsoft Windows 8 new browser, produce in the text flow!

2013-0412 I will naturally recommend the amazing high performance fully electric luxury sedan Tesla Model S when it really become available in Europe, as the absolute best option in the roomy luxurious class - except a second hand Jaguar...

So I have not written about new excellent products or any helpful advise, here... As the amazing Panasonic SD60 video camera, that give excellent fullHD quality even in soft indoor light and in addition has 25x optical zoom... Or my serious warning about the blurring "diffraction effect" that actually make compact digital cameras with more than 12 million pixels practically useless and Canon SX130 IS digital camera with 12x zoom, that is almost as good as the still superior Panasonic TZ7 even if it costs dramatically less... But you will naturally find everything and more in the Best Buy guide ;-)

Following was 2010 news...

1013 The "new" Windows Phone 7 mobile operating system is a giant waste of effort and nothing I can recommend... Mainly because it just offer a new graphic interface, with a less smart design and no real improvements... Yes, they made a very different design - but to be able to do that, did they also introduce five fundamental problems... 1 and 2) They took away any 3D graphic for the icons and made some of them much bigger than you need, so you see much less without scrolling and it look more flat and boring... 3) They don't use large parts of the relatively tiny screen, so you see even less and must scroll even more... 4 and 5) They use silly HUGE "modern" titles, that steal even more screen space and some don't even fit on the screen, so you must also scroll to read some titles... But the competition did already use the smart or elegant alternatives, so the only way to come with something different (if you not are a brilliant designer) was naturally to select worse alternatives... Then get you only the same basic functions, that you get in almost any smartphone OS without any clear advantages!

0827 Sony Bravia KDL-40BX400 is a splendid 40 inch Full HD TV set, at a VERY low price... With deep black, vibrant colours and slightly sharper details than most other, especially at this price and even a good bit above... At least IF you just sit max 160 centimetres from the screen (to see the finest details) and that is easy possible, if you only arrange your furniture slightly different... You will then actually enjoy exactly the same huge feeling, as viewing a 80 inch screen 3.2 meters away!
0113 Another friendly advice... DVD is still the best alternative for most people, because you must have both a full HD screen and sit very close (type max 184cm from a 46 inch screen) to see any finer details... Especially now when even basic DVD player scale up to 90% of perfect Full HD quality, anyhow... And a modern screen scale even better... So if you sit 3 meters away from a 46 inch Full HD screen, will you simply not see any difference with Blu-ray!
0107 A few important facts about 3D video... I don't like anything, just because it's "new" or even because it's popular... I prefer quality and 3D does still look lousy, compared to fine 2D video from DVD or better... Many does also complain about 3D and most people who tried both, prefer high class 2D video - even if they sometimes like the amazing 3D effects, as an alternative way to view things... And I specifically don't like the fuzzy and pale 3D result - especially when high class video, already look very close to real life and often as a clear window...
So we will not recommend any 3D equipment here - before they hopefully make light 3D video glasses, with built in OLED screens, which create a crystal sharp Full HD image, with deep colours and make you feel like viewing a perfect 100 inch 3D screen, or much bigger of course ;-)

0623 I did just find out, that DVD recordings absolutely NOT last forever... They last actually from just a few months (for many "noname" discs) to about 3 years, even with fine brand name DVD-R discs... And much shorter with DVD-RW discs... But the best "gold" DVD-R discs, might last 25 years or longer... Click for more info about this problem...

But it does not use any of the big pocket computer systems and has no place for a memory card...

Because IF you often would use 6x zoom, will you need a 16 megapixels camera (with a normal 3x zoom) to get the same number of pixels, on the motive... And this great camera will costs max 599 usd...

0626 In November comes the ultra elegant Sony Ericsson P810 that will be in metal and much thinner, with a smarter keypad, the screen will handle sunlight better, it will costs about 650-700 Euro and has a 1280x 1024 pixels camera, compared to the lousy 640x480 in todays P800... 0618 To late fall comes the magnificent Treo 600 that will be rather expensive but offer everything, including a fine miniature keyboard, Palm OS 5, quad-band GSM/GPRS or dual CDMA, camera, SD/MMC card slot and longer battery life than todays Treo's... USA have never fight an unfair war, in modern time and they mainly, only try to help countries under attack... Warning... The eZula company, have some mp3 systems called KaZaa and iMesh, that put a "link virus" in your computer.. About 7 million people (at 010820) have downloaded and installed this... The "link virus" is called TopText and let other sites pay and then link to words, in any site you visit... These words get a yellow background and work then like false links... Surf+ is another "link virus" that make false links, with a light green highlight... You can only stop this abuse, if you contact the sites that pay for the false links and Microsoft, that make this possible in Explorer!

My text links have always a and nothing else... Microsoft was also including a very similar system, called Smart Tags, with their new Windows XP browser, that put a big "i" symbol in front of words, that also work like a false link to other sites... But that was stopped, even if some say it still work with the Office XP package!
